nap roll

22 08 2008

$35

We wanted to make a version that rolls up and doesn’t require a mat from the store (they’re seasonally sold), so here it is. This is very similar to the nap mat slipcover and has the same dimensions when rolled out, but we stuffed batting into it instead of fitting it over a mat. Rolls to approximately 12″ x 22″ and is secured with Velcro straps. Handle attached to the top. Removable pillow from case. Still washable.

crayon sac

14 08 2008

$10

These are a spin-off from the crayon roll. I use a small bag (approximately 8 x 8″) and sew on material with crayon slots. These are great for holding paper, a Bible for church, and other books.

nap mat slipcover

9 08 2008

$35 + cost of mat

With a sewn-in blanket and pillow case, this product is actually a slipcover for a kindergarten mat sold in stores (in a 1″ or 2″ depth). The bottom of the slipcover opens with Velcro to insert and remove the mat. The pillow is made of batting and is removable from the pillowcase, so the slipcover is easily washable. The complete mat folds once and is secured with a Velcro strap between the two handles.

Measurements: Approximately 40″ x 20″ unfolded, and 20″ x 20″ folded.

baby doll bed-in-a-basket

9 08 2008

Starting at $25

(depends on the cost and size of the basket)

My daughter is 18 months and loves playing with her baby doll. She rocks her, feeds her, bathes her, and puts her down for a nap. We had been using a shoe box for a crib, but Granny decided her granddaughter needed a much cuter crib than a shoe box would provide. Fabric is sewn around the basket, and a coordinating mattress, pillow, blanket, and quilt are included.

crayon roll

23 07 2008

$15 (includes 8 crayons)

These are custom made for either standard crayons or large ones. Holds approximately 10 large crayons or 15 standard crayons. Rolled up, the crayon roll is about the size of an empty toilet paper roll. Unrolled, it measures approximately 10″ x 5″. Great for church, restaurants, and road trips!!! Also great as “big sibling” gifts.

personalized cups

4 07 2008

$5 + cost of cup

These are a fun way to label your child’s cup, or to give as a gift. I use the Playtex Create-My-Own Cup, scrapbook paper of your choice, and my electronic cutter to cut out the letters. I then laminate the paper for durability. These are fun to make for holidays too! Remember, once you have the cup bought we can make additional labels for $5 each.

Note: The cap color varies by availability. I do my best to coordinate the color on the cap with the paper. Most often, these cups come in the straw form, but there are a few “sippy” cups as well.

P.S. I’m adding these to the “gifts for mama” category too because I can make an insert for the coffee mugs that Starbucks sells!!!

nursery

20 06 2008

This is my sweet daughter’s sweet nursery. My mom sewed the bumper pad, adjustable crib skirt, curtain, and she recovered the chair cushion. Please contact us for pricing information.

Boppy covers

20 06 2008

$22

Because mine became a part of my living room, I liked it to be pretty. Mamas use their Boppy a lot, whether they nurse or bottle feed, so jazz it up a little! Slips on easy and zips up.

dipes & wipes sac

20 06 2008

$8

gift package: $15

Empty sac shown on left; sac with dipes & wipes shown on right.

These are great for a few reasons: 1. They keep your diaper bag organized. 2. They are great for when your child gets a little older and you don’t need your whole, big diaper bag (I keep mine in my purse, hand my daughter her milk cup, and we’re good to go). 3. Great for multiple children. When you have two or more children in diapers and only carry one bag, you need to be able to separate their diapers.

This is also a GREAT gift for diaper showers (a plain ol’ package of diapers is nice, but a little boring! :)). The gift package includes a small container of wipes and 3-5 newborn Pampers.

burpees

20 06 2008

$5

2 for $9

3 for $12

These are fun to get really creative and theme-oriented with. I’ve used camo and cowboy prints, or I match them with another gift you’re giving. I love to coordinate a package of burpees, and I like to include at least one super-soft solid chenille fabric. I use the thick cloth diapers and sew a 6″ wide strip of material down the length of the middle. LOTS of people order these for a little personalized gift.
